Remembrances of Skip Ulrich

I met George Ulrich thru music. If its him that I do remember...He and his band would beat us out of playing for the Cure of Ars dances.... The Church would just tell us we performed our music to loud and hard... I think George had a lock on the joint.... Another one gone from us all to soon .... I will never forget these guys and others...They gave the supreme sacrafice.... I wear my star every memorial day so they will never be forgotten....

'Like any typical sibling relationship, I didn't really appreciate my brother until it was too late.  Skip was the perfect older brother. Smart, funny, and a creative tormentor to his little sister.  I miss him every time a spider scares the hell out of me, and thank him for showing me how to throw a ball like a boy.  It was Skip that made me learn to fight my own battles, and laugh at my mistakes. I treasure the time I had with him.
The true measure of a person is the fact that they touched your life in some meaningful way and made a difference. Skipper not only touched my life, but the lives of so many. I remain his very proud "little sister." Frannie
