I stopped by Pinelawn National
Cemetery to visit Bob's grave a couple of weeks ago After all these
years, I finally stopped by. At Calhoun Bob was a wonderful friend
and a great, if misunderstood, all around person. I have no idea
how I met Bob, but we worked out and hung out together all through high
school. I remember Bob fighting some huge older guy when I messed
with the girl friend, it was a little embarrassing, but I loved Bob for
it. Bob always wanted to be a Marine and he joined. I remember
how hard it was to talk to his parents after Bob was killed in Viet Nam.
I wish that Bob had made it back like most of us, but . . . Bob,
I still miss you.
