News from our Teachers!

Any Calhoun teacher of any period who visits our website is encouraged to submit any info you desire for this page. Please email Bruce and tell us what you're doing. Pictures - current and past - are very welcome, as are your email address, leads on other teachers, etc. We would be delighted to hear from you!

I've recently had a very nice exchange of email messages with one of everyones favorite teachers - Ann Mullaney McDonough. For those who didn't know, this was Ann's final year of teaching and she is now retired - deservedly so. Ann has graciously stepped up to help us in any way she can, mostly by keeping other retired teachers advised what we are up to here and at the forum, and passing along our invitation to them to drop in and participate any time.

On a sadder note, Ann informed me of the passing of three well known and well liked teachers from the 60's era. Biology teacher Richard Braak passed away recently, and English teachers James Drake and Paul Latino have also passed. I had Mr. Latino for English in grade 10, I believe.

Ann has also allowed me to post her email address on our contact page so that all of her former students can get in touch with her. If you are one of her many admirers - let her know what effect she had on your life.
